How contributions become cooperative units and how those units can change.
Cooperative Units Policy
Cooperative units are the member record used by ThriveCoop to show each member's participation in the cooperative.
Units are issued only when an approved contribution is posted. Units are priced using the approved NAV or unit price that applies at the time. Units are not bank deposits, and their value can change when the cooperative records profit, loss, reversals, investments, withdrawals, or other approved accounting events.
Units are subject to cooperative rules. Some units may be locked for investments, withdrawals, or other approved purposes, and locked units cannot be used again until they are released or redeemed.
